the year is over, and i am back to school!

WEYBURN TOURNY

Hey Kids

Its Thomas here, just wanting to share a bit of info! on August 4th there is the Weyburn Junior Open, and if there is enough interest we will take some kids to play in the tournament! Just Call the Pro-shop and ask for me, and i'll take your name and we'll try to set up something!!!

ALSO

Elmwoods Club Championship is the 8-9 of August and you must be a member to play! so if you have your membership, make sure you come out and play in this tournament, there are a ton, and i mean a TON of prizes, and they are a net handicap score, so its fair for everyone, of every ability!!! To sign up, Call the Pro-Shop and talk with anyone of us, and we'll sign you up!

Hey Kids

Hey there kids!

Its Thomas here, sorry i've been so busy, but i haven't been able to blog here for a while!!!!

Today is Monday, which means we get to see all of ya again, for another family night!
I will be on the course with all of you tonight, so if you see me make sure to wave me down, and come say hi!

Lately at the golf course we have had a lot of junior oriented programs (programs for all of you kids!)

I took a group of kids to Thomson Lake, near Lafleche to play some golf at a different golf course, and it was a blast! I am planning to take another group to a golf course, so be sure to sign up in the pro-shop! you just have to be 12 years old or older!

We also had Weyburn Golf Course Bring some of their juniors for an interclub where we all played golf together! it was a lot of fun, and the kids learnt alot from the experience!

The Elmwood Golf Course also hosted the 2009 SGA junior Provincial Championships! where all of the best junior golfers in the province came to play in a tournament, and it was pretty neat! the Winning Person shot -15 (which is unbelievable) and it was something else to watch, and help out with!

Now, i know that you all are excited to be here for Family Nights, and so are we! I wanted to tell you all that between Mike, Shaun and I (along with Jeff) we are planning some lessons for you before family nights, so make sure you get your parents to call the pro shop at (306) 773-2722 for details.

Hey Kids!!

Hey guys,

Hope everyone who has been here, has enjoyed the website so far, some of you might even see a picture of you on here!!

we can't say enough about how much fun we've had with all of you, and Jeff, Mike, Shaun and I (Thomas) want to thank all of you for being such good students, and listening to what we had to say.

The tee-times should be posted by thursday, and for sure by friday, so keep checking back, also we are going to be putting up all of the pictures, and info for family night. We will also be using this site through out the year to give info on many different events, including Junior Tournaments, Junior interclubs (where we take some kids to a course in a different city to golf!) and many other things, there will even be some little tips to help you all out from one of the pro's!!

We hope that all of you had as much fun with us as we had with you, and that you continue to enjoy golf, and keep working to become better players. Remember, you all have it in you! You just need to keep practicing, and always ask for help if you need it!

PARENTS: We also wanted to let you know that there is another new website. elmwoodgolf.blogspot.com is going to be a news website surrounding the elmwood golf club that will link us with tournamnet information, as well as lesson info if you also need to see a pro to better your game! We also want to thank-you for being able to bring the Kids to the lessons, and allowing us to show them a bit of what we know. You all make it possible for the kids to succeed, and you deserve a lot of thanks aswell.
